About Sweta

Hello! My name is Sweta, and I just completed my third year of undergraduate studies as a Computer Science major at Georgia Tech. My specializations are Information Internetworks and People. I take education very seriously, and as a result, I always want to learn more and more, whether it is inside or outside of the classroom. I have always loved to learn, and I love helping other people learn.

I always valued my education, and I can honestly say my dedication and diligence has paid off, both at the high school and college levels. The pinnacle of my studies came when I gave my valedictory speech in 2005. At college, I feel that I am still very successful, despite the tremendous workload and any other challenges that may have come forth. All in all, college has really been a wonderful, fun-filled learning experience thus far. I currently have an internship with a start-up company named Pardot: I will be doing web development and working on a B2B product called Cascade Server.

With all of this going on, I still found time for my two biggest passions: singing & playing piano and... playing tennis! I have been singing and playing piano for 12 and 14 years, respectively. Although I am not taking lessons for either of them anymore, I still play piano and sing as much as possible. I started playing tennis when I was 14, and 7 years later, I not only play it, but it is one of my biggest passions, and I love to watch tennis. Roger Federer is my favorite player... his attitude, perseverence, diligence, and tennis strokes are all an inspiration and just a joy to watch!

I am also trilingual, speaking English, Spanish, and Telugu. As a result of this, I love learning all about different cultures, whether it is Indian, American, or Spanish. My study abroad program really allowed me to explore the European culture, which I absolutely loved. I hope that life has much more learning in store for me!
